A tabletop roleplaying game for two to six people.

You are elderly. You are residents of a care home. You are, by most reasonable measures, not the people anyone would call in a crisis.

And yet here you are.

Wrinkled & Ready is a comedic tabletop roleplaying game about a group of elderly residents navigating schemes, scandals, and small disasters within the walls of their care home. One player runs the world — the staff, the visitors, the suspiciously sprightly new resident — and everyone else plays a character who is absolutely not as harmless as they look.

The system is simple. You roll a twelve-sided die and hope for the best. Your abilities help or hinder you depending on how well your body and mind are cooperating today, which is never guaranteed. Your identity tells you who you are. Your ailment reminds you of your limitations. Your stuff is what you have managed to hold onto.

Combat exists but is undignified. Social situations are where the real power lies. The GM's job is to make failed rolls funny rather than fatal. Your job is to cause as much chaos as is reasonable for someone of your age and condition, which turns out to be quite a lot.

Characters can run out of Energy, fall asleep at critical moments, throw their back out, and suffer consequences that would never appear in a more respectable game. This is a feature, not a flaw.

No experience with tabletop roleplaying is required. If you have ever watched an elderly relative outwit someone half their age through sheer stubbornness, you already understand the tone.

Come in, sit down, and try not to wake anyone who is napping.

They will be furious.
